VIEW Edge offers exceptional adaptability for precisely identifying edge locations within intricate scenes.

Blob and Centroid functionalities facilitate flaw detection, presence or absence checking of features, and dimensional measurements, along with centering features.

Area Multi-Focus (AMF) generates a high-resolution 3D dataset during a standard autofocus pass, providing a high-throughput alternative to laser surface scanning.

Extended Depth of Field Imaging (EDFI) is achieved through a typical autofocus pass, creating a 2D image from a 3D part with all surfaces consistently in focus.

Continuous Image Capture (CIC) coordinates illumination with camera frame acquisition and stage movement, enabling the capture of video images while XY stages are in motion.

Image filters for erosion, dilation, smoothing, and contrast contribute to reliable and precise edge processing.

The Native Video® processing capability allows for the measurement of saved images using the same analysis tools employed for live images.

Defects and anomalies on a part can be identified based on size, shape, or color. These identified defects can then be classified to determine whether a part has failed according to predefined criteria.
