Fusion® systems represent an innovative class of high-speed 3D multisensor measurement systems, seamlessly integrating an exceptional large field-of-view (LFOV) optical system with versatile multisensor capabilities to create a uniquely productive metrology system family.

The key to Fusion systems' capabilities lies in their telecentric large field-of-view optics. Fusion introduces dual optical magnifications: one for a 100 mm viewing area and another for small feature measurements with autofocus—each maintaining telecentricity for image accuracy throughout the depth of field. The advanced design principles and FOV non-linear calibration enable Fusion systems to measure a multitude of features in a large FOV with the same precision as a small FOV on a traditional video measurement system.

Large field optics enable accurate imaging of a wide area, while feature extraction promptly processes and identifies all features and dimensions within the scene without the need for a pre-programmed measurement routine.
